🎅 Christmas in July!
Big John’s Wood Joint | 15 Money Hill Rd, Chepachet, is holding their first annual Christmas in July event ALL month. New to Chepachet Village, John, and his wife Lisa, have handmade all of the wood items in their shop and feature other local artisans. Their sale includes a large amount of Christmas decor. They are open Fridays 10-5 and Saturdays & Sundays 9-4. They will be open for Sip & Shop tonight 4-8p
Scituate Farmer’s Market will bring us Christmas in July at their weekly Market, next weekend, July 16th along with their USO Tribute Show.
The Hen House | 1189 Putnam Pike, Chepachet, is offering a Christmas craft session on July 27th 1-3p sign up on their website.
💸 Fundraiser to help a Family in our Community
From Organizer: Hi Friends! I would love your help! My dear friends have a six-year-old son named Luca who has been diagnosed with Leukemia. I am running a combination fundraiser on Saturday, July 26th at Pacheco Park in North Smithfield, RI.

🎭️ Auditions for Foster’s Got Talent
Got a passion, act, talent of any kind? Open to all ages. Bring your own music (CD, phone, etc.) Audition for a chance to perform at Foster Old Home Days at the end of July. Make sure you check out other contest offerings; Pies, cookies, flowers, chili, pickles, hi-lo jack and more!

🪲 Fireflies
Join Audubon for an evening celebrating the living lightshow that is the firefly. Learn about how they use their flickering lights to communicate and how to recognize them during the day. Make a glowing firefly craft to take home and end the evening by going out to the fields to watch their blinking displays. Program will be rescheduled in the case of inclement weather. Rain date is July 12, 2025. Cost: Adult $14 / Child $7, discount offered for members REGISTER by 7/10

🫧 Bubble Bulooza on the Riverwalk
Let's fill the Riverwalk with bubbles! This family friendly event is great for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school kids. We will have large bins of bubble solution and bubble wands set up on the Riverwalk behind the library. Come make some bubbles with us. Also set up will be a bubble machine and large bubble ropes/wands to make gigantic bubbles. This program may be canceled due to weather. Drop-in style program. No registration needed.
