Mission accomplished: Burrillville Little Leaguers win first state championship since 1972, shutting out Coventry 6-0. The all-stars now advance to the Metro Region Tournament in Bristol, Connecticut. Full story here

🛶 Curran Reservoir Guided Paddle Trip
Join us for a guided paddle at a Curran Reservoir! We’ll launch from 5 Waterview Drive in Smithfield (Wolf Hill Forest Preserve in google maps) where we have our Leo Bouchard Conservation Center. Come see our newly renovated education center situated in an idyllic spot by the Curran Reservoir and next to an extensive network of trails in Wolf Hill Preserve. We'll look for cool birds and turtles and enjoy all the natural wonders of this clean and protected part of the Woonasquatucket River!
The WRWC provides canoes, kayaks, paddles and life jackets.
All skill levels are welcome.
Children are welcome, if accompanied by an adult.
Trips typically last approximately 2 hours, depending on location.
All participants must wear a life jacket (PFD), even if you bring your own boat.

They are also a freelance writer/editor who's debut novel "Failure to Comply" is a dystopian science fiction tale that was blurbed by Rivers Solomon as "lovingly and ecstatically told"!
